Students must:
  • Be classified as a freshman or sophomore 
  • Intended major of accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics OR be interested in a career in the financial services industry
  • Have a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA (or high school GPA of 3.50) 
  • Not yet enrolled in or completed a major-related upper division course 
Students must:
  • Completed at least 30 semester hours or equivalent 
  • Declared major in accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics OR be interested in a career in the financial services industry
  • Attained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher 
  • Have completed or are currently enrolled in one upper division major-related course (3000 level or above)
Students must:​
  • Completed at least 45 semester hours or equivalent 
  • Declared major in accounting, finance, information systems or business analytics OR be interested in a career in the financial services industry
  • Attained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher 
  • Attained a major GPA of 3.00 or higher
  • Have completed or are currently enrolled in one upper division major-related course (3000 level or above)
  • Be Initiated at the Beta Alpha Psi Initiation Ceremony at the end of each semester, after meeting the Candidate and Student Member requirements
Students must:
  • Declared major in accounting, finance, information systems or business analytics, while being enrolled in a UTSA graduate business program
  • Attained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher 
  • Attained a major GPA of 3.00 or higher
  • be enrolled in a 5000-level or 7000-level graduate major-related course
Graduate students join as Candidates in their first semester and then can become initiated Members for the duration of their graduate program.

To be eligible to run for an officer position, students must have attained the appropriate amount of points to make Member as a Candidate OR have met the appropriate amount of points as a Member to maintain active status.

​To be eligible to run for President, students must first serve as an officer on the Executive Board for one semester.
